New Vision Coop’s 2018 donation fund has been fully committed. 

Some of the larger recipients were the Eco Bus Center Planetarium Fund ($ 3,000.00), area food shelves in Luverne, Worthington, Heron Lake, Windom, Mountain Lake and Jackson ($ 1,000.00 each).  In addition New Vision Coop’s members commit approximately $ 20,000.00 to area 4H members and county offices annually. 

Donation requests for the 2019 calendar should be submitted after November 1, 2018 and will be considered prior to April 1, 2019.

New Vision Coop is owned by approximately 7,000 farmers in southwest Minnesota, northwest Iowa and eastern South Dakota.  New Vision Coop’s members have a long history of community support through donations to 4H, FFA, food shelves and other area activities and projects.

New Vision Coop Charitable Donation Guidelines and Procedures

New Vision Coop members support building strong communities where our members and employees live. New Vision Coop members and employees volunteer in our communities and recognize the responsibility we share to support community programs and facilities. The New Vision Coop Board of Directors evaluates and awards applications for donation requests that:
                Support youth in agricultural related interests
                Support agriculture and cooperative education
                Capital improvements for non-profit groups that serve the public
Past awards have been given to the FFA for building improvements and education, 4H, local food banks, various fire and rescue departments, park improvements, YMCA, veteran facilities and memorials.
We are proud of our support of community philanthropy but recognize that it is not possible to fund every request.
The following types of organizations although credible, are not eligible for New Vision Coop charitable donations:
                Fraternal, religious, social or labor organizations, team sponsorships, political groups.
                Groups or organizations or programs whose principal funding comes from federal, state, 
                or local taxes except for activities of the state university system.
